Interfaces Against Pollution

Prof. Raewyn M. Town (chair) and Prof. Ronny Blust (co-chair) organised the ‘Interfaces Against Pollution: Chemical and Biological Perspectives’ conference in Antwerp, which took place from the 18th to the 21st of September. As part of this event, three posters were presented by the following RESPONSE researchers:

  • Hanne Diels presented a poster entitled ‘Plastic Pellet Flux in the Harbour of Antwerp’ as part of the Interfaces Against Pollution conferences.

  • Jenevieve Hara presented a poster entitled ‘Automated quantification of apoptosis signals in bivalve hemocytes as a proxy for micro-and nanoplastic risk assessment’ as part of the Interfaces Against Pollution conferences. This poster was also awarded best poster as part of the event.

  • Mathilde Falcou-Préfol presented a poster entitled “Analysis of small microplastics and nanoplastics in complex matrices” as part of the Interfaces Against Pollution conferences.
