EUROQCHARM Interlaboratory Study

We would like to congratulate our partners at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Örebro University for their participation in the ‘EUROQCHARM Interlaboratory Study on the Analysis of Microplastics in Environmental Matrices: Third workshop on the Development Exercise DE 17’ (collaboration with Quasimeme/Wepal and Norman) this month!

As part of this event, Keven Ugwu gave a presentation entitled ‘Comparison of effective methods for quantification of plankton-sized microplastics: the case of the Gulf of Bothnia, Sweden”. This talk presented their work which aims to compare two sampling methods and devices for collection of microplastics down to 10 µm in marine waters collected from 5 stations along the Gulf of Bothnia off the coast of Sweden.
